What is the CIDADE DO SABER

Inaugurated on March 22, 2007, the CIDADE DO SABER – social program administered by the Institute Professor Raimundo Pinheiro, a non-governmental organization, social organization as certified by the city of Camaçari – has the City maintainer as, through the departments of culture and sport. It is recognized as the most important center of learning and social inclusion of the state of Bahia. Integrated complex of education, culture, sport and leisure has been consolidated as the most important public facilities and the city has already provided care to thousands of people, including children, youth, adults and elderly, in courses and workshops on art and culture, sports schools ; activities to promote health, training of teams / athletes for performance; presentations of shows of dance, theater, music, performance, in their facilities, courses, seminars, lectures, workshops and training, promoted by others.

The quality of the facilities and methodology provide a daily service to more than 4,000 youth and adults, contributing to a better quality of life. The equipment fills the gap in contemporary issues and practices of non-formal education, art, entertainment and local talent is showing, art and sports.

The CIDADE DO SABER has received two major awards that lay in such a short time, your technology inclusive: Top 2007 and Top Regional Social National Social 2008, in the latter case, as the only institution in north / northeast of the country.
